Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones.
